The Jordan Riley Foundation is 501c(3) charity named after Jordan Riley who passed in 2024 from from sickle cell anemia. The Jordan Riley Foundation exists to spread awareness of the condition, advocate for testing, fund research, and improve the quality of life of those effected by sickle cell anemia. We host fund raising events, and accept charitable donations to achieve our goals and bring hope to those in need.
Sickle cell disease is a lifelong blood disorder that changes the shape of red blood cells. Instead of moving smoothly through the body, these cells can become hard, sticky, and shaped like a sickle. This can block blood flow and lead to pain, fatigue, infections, and other serious health problems.
With the right care, support, and resources, people living with sickle cell disease can better manage their health and quality of life.
